Aaron Gordon has narrowed his list to five schools.

"My top five are Washington, Oregon, Kentucky, Arizona, and Kansas," said Gordon.

Goreon will be a senior next year at Mitty of San Jose.

"I would say my favorite at this point is probably Washington just because I have a good relationship with the coaches," said Gordon.

Gordon, who is a consensus top-five member of the 2013 class, recently suffered a fractured toe.

"Everybody has a decent shot because I'm probably not going to decide until after my senior season. Oregon, Washington, and Arizona are probably recruiting me the hardest right now, though."

Anthony Bennett committed to UNLV on Saturday.

Bennett, the top overall prospect of the 2012 class that had yet to commit, picked UNLV over Oregon.

Bennett is ranked No. 7 overall in the class.

Michael Peck, Findlay Prep's coach, watched the local school recruit his star with diligence.

"They did it very old school," Peck said. "They were traditional in how they recruited him. They tried to decide which places to come see him. They didn't overdo it. Now their fans, they made sure they were at home games and were cheering and wearing all the red."

Anthony Bennett has trimmed his list to UNLV and Oregon.

Bennett has eliminated Kentucky from consideration, according to his AAU coaches.

“He really likes Kentucky,” CIA Bounce coaches Tony McIntyre and Mike Georgetold said. “He loves what they’re doing there. But Anthony feels it would be a better fit at UNLV or Oregon.

“He likes Oregon and UNLV better. He has a chance to be an immediate impact” at those schools.

Anthony Bennett has trimmed his list to Kentucky, Oregon and UNLV, eliminating Florida from consideration.

The 6-foot-8 forward plans to make his decision in the next two weeks.

Bennett is a top-10 prospect in the class of 2012.
